Comments: Its great to see my little home town on the web. I grew up in this wonderfull little town, went to school at St Eddie's and lived on a farm out of town between Canowindra, Cowra and Woodstock. I remember when the firs t balloon came to town and had flights around the district, scaring the sheep into a frenised mob. I have not had the pleasure of returning for some time so I will keep checking out this page for updates, but its not like being there. As everyone knows everyone, or did back then my maiden name was Jenny Whiteley so say hello to all my generation (now o ver 40) who still live there.

Comments: Hi! I am not from Cowra myself, but my family is. My Grandma is Bernadette Crowe and all her family come from that area. My great aunt Pauline Murray still lives in town and I have a lot of relos in the area :) Was great to see a Canowindra site on the web :) I remember family trips there, and would love to go again. I missed out last year when my great aunt Eithne Wood nee Crowe had her 50th wedding anniversary there with a lot of the family going :( My cousin Paul Devitt is the parish priest at Blayney :) If anyone out there is a relo, drop me a line :)

Comments: I'm an ex student of Canowindra High and resident of Billimari. I was a member of the Belabula Community Band (does it still exist?) and participated in Billican Productions with my father Bob Sutton, who was a founding member of this theatrical society. Although I left the area in 1985, I still think of it through rose coloured glasses, and wonder what ever happened to my class mates and aquaintences. Should any see this, drop me a line. Comments: Congratulations to the people of Canowindra. I myself was born in Soldiers Memorial Hospital in 1954, went to St Edwards primary School, then moved to Cowra, I now live in Queensland. My (Beautiful) Grandmother Doris Slattery, lived on Moorbel Rd until her death a few years ago, i still have many relatives living there.
